If a Client has been unable to access other sources of quality support, the second stage of GBG Law's involvement is to provide Community Based Advocacy. This is normally provided by telephone on a local rate telephone number.
GBG Law works with Clients to work through an organisations formal complaints process and, where appropriate, we will assist with escalating unresolved complaints to the Ombudsman services. Failing this and in some circumstances our Clients may wish to pursue their complaint through the Courts. In these circumstances and all circumstances, GBG Law has the ultimate discretion as to whether we refer a case to our McKenzie Friend team.
