When can GBG Law take on a case and can you guarantee to?
GBG Law can only take on cases where all other avenues of assistance have been exhausted. This is because registered charities, unlike GBG Law receive funding that, even if we were a registered charity, we would be unlikely to be able to claim for when another charity is receiving funding to provide the same service. We most often do take on cases that charities and other organisations cannot assist with or where they have failed to assist appropriately. We would expect to see evidence of the organisations that you have attempted to secure support from first. We can never guarantee to take on a case but we will try our best, dependent on the specialisms of our Caseworkers/Non Legal Advocates and our availability, to take on your case. There may be a delay and in some circumstances, regretfully, we may not be able to assist. Taking on cases is a decision solely made at the discretion of GBG Law.

General Helpful Information
All calls from landlines and mobiles in the UK are charged at the local rate and may be recorded for legal, security and training purposes. Outside of these times, a secure voicemail facility is available. Our telephone systems will also provide the facility for you to leave a voicemail if we have not been able to answer your call within 5 minutes. You can also fax the team on 03303 500754. If you choose to send a fax, please let us know which department your fax is intended for on your fax cover sheet. We do not accept service of legal documents by fax or otherwise.
Please Delete: Add in facility to request a call back for people on very low incomes but explain that this may cause delays in us calling them back.
